Consent
Your comfort and trust are our top priorities. Massage therapy involves two types of consent: verbal and written. In accordance with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario requirements, written consent must be obtained before treating sensitive areas of the body, including the buttocks, upper inner thighs, and chest.
We will always take the time to discuss your treatment plan with you and answer any questions you may have before proceeding. If written consent is required, it will be reviewed with you and securely kept in your file.
Please remember that you are always in control of your treatment. You may decline or withdraw consent for any area at any time, and your preferences will be fully respected.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a typical treatment session?
Treatment sessions typically range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs and treatment plan. Your first visit may be longer to allow for an assessment.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral is needed for massage therapy. However, some insurance plans may require a doctor's prescription for coverage, so check with your provider.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You'll be draped appropriately during treatment, and only the area being worked on will be exposed.
How many treatments will I need?
This varies based on your condition, overall health, and treatment goals. Some issues may improve in a few sessions, while chronic conditions may require ongoing care.
Is massage therapy painful?
Treatment should not be painful. Some techniques may cause temporary discomfort, but you should always feel comfortable communicating with your therapist about pressure levels.
